For us, quality begins within the product and process development phase, together with the customer. Already at this point, the quality management lays a foundation when applying well-definded procedures, that are permanetly being optimized and lived.

We espcecialy emphasise the continous enhancement of our procedures.

Furthermore, quality control is inherently implemented in every step of our industrial manufacturing.
Failure mode and effects analysis is a tool applied on a regular basis, as well as capability studies on machinery, manufacturing and test processes.

The current production is veiled upon by modern and partly specially developed testing equipment.

In close cooperation between quality management and technical purchasing, the production network, development and of course our suppliers, we enssure an on-time and error-free start of production.

Gear units, motors and engineering – the product and services portfolio of AUMA Drives is quite comprehensive.

From concept design to customer-specific test series right through to industrialised production: Engineering  gains ground within corporate philosophy. Our engeneering service aims to achieve both service quality and customer satisfaction. A convincing concept: Our special solutions are working reliably both in the world's largest solar thermal power plant in California as well as in the largest desalination plant in Dubai.

In the Gear  sector, AUMA drives already made it into the inner circle of the world leading manufacturers when still under the name of GFCAntriebsSysteme. We are specialised in development and production of individual components such as worm wheel sets, worm gear units, helical worm gear units, worm helical gear units as well as double worm gear units. Furthermore, AUMA Drives shows expertise in complete drive system solutions such as elevator gear units, escalator gear units and slewing gear units which are tailor-made and can on request be completely developed and manufactured to customer requirements.

Increasing product variants and the dynamics of demand shape internal processes from design right through to production at the plants. To control growing complexity, machining at AUMA Drives GmbH is organized according to the Lean Manufacturing Principle. The methods of KANBAN and the 5s prinziple are applied to all production processes.

Focussing on customized product solutions and expanding into internationnal markets increased our econimic groth in such way, that production areas and capacities had to be enlarged. By now, soley the assembly area in our 2015/16 expanded plant II compromises 4,500m2. Currently, our site in Coswig (Germany) employes approximately 220 staff members in two plants.
