System gear units as solid basis.<\/h1>\n

Industrial gear units by AUMA Drives are specifically designed for two requirement profiles. On the one hand, this is continuous force transmission at high speeds and precise part-turn positioning of heavy weights. For these applications, the advantages of worm gear units are most obvious: Low noise and minimum backlash at high transmission ratios, even when used in heavy-duty environments.<\/p>\n

Gear units by AUMA Drives implement torques of maximum 100,000 newton metres and may also be configured for demanding application environments. The portfolio of industrial gear units by AUMA Drives includes worm gear units and double gear units<\/a>, partly combined with helical gear units. Furthermore, a wide spectrum of gear units for passenger transport<\/a> in different configurations complete the portfolio. In addition, the company produces complete worm wheel sets for OEM applications according to customer drawing; AUMA Drives implements even more comprehensive projects as manufacture to order on the basis of the customer specification.<\/p>\n

For all requirements going beyond the wide system gear unit portfolio, the R&D team<\/a> at AUMA Drives will be glad to assist you. The necessary modifications will be implemented according to customer requests.
